Calling all College Football Enthusiasts

Can someone explain how one team can have two players wearing #3?

  1. One plays offense and one plays defense. They're never SUPPOSED to be on the field at the same time, but Neuheisel obviously fucked up. With colleges having like 90 scholarshiped athletes with number restrictions (only lineman can only wear numbers 50-79), you're bound to have some repeats.

  2. This was during the almost brawl, so they probably wouldn't have been on the field at the same time during normal play. Still kinda weird...
